Staffing Industry Analysts estimates the Singaporean staffing market to be worth approximately 1.3 billion (USD 1 billion); broken down between permanent recruitment (20%) and temporary staffing (80%). The top three firms account for approximately 40% of the total market and the top ten companies 67%.
In addition to the top twenty-five list, we also provide a list of another 80+ based in Singapore, drawn from the members’ roll of APSCo Asia and the SPRO - the Singapore Professional Recruitment Organisation (who are due to merge soon) and the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).
Speaking about the report Adam Pode, Head of Research for EMEA and APAC at SIA, said: “Flexible staffing arrangements using temporary and contractual workers are becoming increasingly popular in Singapore. Moreover, this trend is only likely to grow as employers are struggling to find the skilled individuals they need in the face of tight labour markets and the government’s policies on hiring foreigners”.
“Companies are spending billions of dollars both in Singapore and around the world on Contingent Work. Who these providers are and how to operate with them is going to be a focus of our CWS Summit Conference in Singapore on the 18th- 19th July”.
